our story

it starts with two bouts of poison ivy. ouch.

"between my gangly limbs and hypersensitive skin, i'm not surprised that i had a severe reaction to poison ivy. but i didn't think i'd encounter it secondhand in my own backyard. the fear of accidental exposure (for a third time) launched my search for gardening gloves that could put me at ease.

what I found was ... disappointing. bulky fits, stiff fabric, wimpy lifespans. they could barely stand up to dirt, let alone skin-irritating rashes, eye-watering allergens, sweaty palms, or harmful uv rays.

that’s why i started higarden: to give gardeners the peace of mind they deserve. our gloves fit well, feel nice, and look good—a triple threat. but more importantly, they’re reliable protection for gardening in reality.

i'm back to blissing out in my garden, unbothered by close encounters with unfamiliar plants and bugs, finally wearing gardening gloves i can count on."

equal parts operator and creative, alli combines tactical brilliance with a deep love of entrepreneurialism. she’s building higarden as the first and only innovation-forward gardening brand—merging protection, comfort, and quiet style for the modern home grower.
