I shot with Anne Marie the day before yesterday and have stoped in the middle of reviewing the proofs to write this. Anne Marie is perhaps the most incredible photographers I’ve worked with (I’ve worked in fashion/editorial for years).
pre-shoot
Anne Marie pulled a 5 person crew and location together in 3 days, it was so impressive and she made it feel easy.
She really heard me, and was always making sure the product looked its best on the models in every shot, so I didn’t have to. Anne Marie very clearly understands small businesses and spoke fluently in the social media/marketing language we all have had to learn. She was approachable and answered every question with care.
on set
Anne Marie is collaborative, funny, and put models and client at ease instantly. She led the crew firmly while also allowing for spontaneous moments to be captured. She coached the models beautifully and it was clear they valued her guidance as they followed it to a T.
her eye
exceptional. It’s instantly clear that she adores her work. Anne Marie’s technichal knowledge was a treat too. I learned a great deal about flash lighting and composition over the course of the day.
the result
I have put Anne Marie through the wringer with an enormous ask of 300 photos. She had a plan and was very proactive with communication.
